A few people have pointed out that we haven’t posted our updated Tiny House layout. Whoops. I’ve been meaning to do it… but just have been too busy. Having said that, I’ve got some time today to sit in front of the computer and give y’all a look at our layout.
Here is the general floor plan with the loft transparent. The Left side of this picture is the front of the trailer. The big open room is going to be the “master” bedroom”. It actually sits on top of the gooseneck as you see in the next few pictures.
I should point out that a few things will be a bit different. For instance the bathroom entrance will be on the kitchen side. There are also some things we haven’t planned out like how we want to close off the loft.

Yeah, I can’t wait till you see it in person, but until then I’ll have more photos up this week.
Hello pete , nice work ,i know u guys got rid of ur tiny house , sad story, hope all is well,,i got chills knowing u had to sell it .. wow , im going to be doing one, thanks for all the great ideas, was wondering if you where to do it over would u go longer like 40 ‘ or did that 32 ‘ feel huge ?thanks in advance ,,regards, sc nielsen chicago il.
Hello Shawn,
For a Tiny House, the 32′ felt really nice. The living area in the rear of the trailer had a vaulted ceiling and really made the whole thing feel amazing. I don’t think I would need to go bigger if I was to do it again.
this is awesome! thank you!
Nice job on the SketchUp. I’ve used the program enough to feel comfortable, but not proficient. Any chance you uploaded your model to the SketchUp site? My partner and I are just about to start building on a 34ft. fifth wheel mobile home frame (once we tear down the old shell). We hope to start an active blog tracking our progress. Thanks for letting us peak into your project. Go Wisconsin!
