Here are the pictures from the move we did about a month ago.
Chris Kleman graciously helped us get the truck in working order and then helped hook the house up to it.
The truck pulled it quite well. It was my first time driving anything with a trailer… and it is one heck of a trailer! Now it is sitting in our Driveway in the City.

[…] Moving the Tiny House […]
we’re actually attempting to do near what you’re doing! we have a 1 year old boy, but want to live in a tiny house… unfortunately there aren’t many plans out there that take more than one living space into consideration.. or those that do aren’t very safe for a young one to sleep in (high lofts/no guard rails) so i’ll definitely be following you now that i’ve found you 😛 out of curiosity what kind of truck did you use to pull it?
Awesome! Great to have you along for the ride.
We pulled the house using an 1993 Ford F350 dually truck.
thanks! while i’m here is there anyway you could show the new layout and how you ended up setting up things? it’s interesting how you have one of the bedrooms over part of the hitch, and is the 32 feet with the hitch or just the bed itself?
Yes… I will update the layout this weekend in a new post. Thanks for following along.

32 feet doesn’t include the part over the hitch… so that adds about 6 more feet… meaning our roof is about 38 feet long. Almost as long as a semi (40 feet)! Everyone that sees it in person comments on how it is bigger than they though based on the pictures they’ve seen. I certainly is one of the largest Tiny Houses on wheels that I’ve come across. In fact, I don’t think I have seen one as big as ours. But like I’ve said elsewhere, it is the size that is just right for us; a family of 3 that plans on growing.
I love this design!
Question: What is the finished height of the master loft? How tall did the overall house end up being when finished?
Thanks.
The height of the loft is about 6′ 4″ at the peak. But on the sides it is about 5″ 10″ or so… We have been away from the Tiny house for so many months. I will have to confirm next time I’m in it. (It will be a while)
